    What will it do? What is it for? and how to use it?

      Hi Ketil,
      Soft Arranger is a MIDI arranger like the ones made by Ketron, Roland, Yamaha, Korg, etc… (sometimes called an auto accompaniment keyboard) which is used for playing music on a keyboard and sounding like a whole band. The main difference is that Soft Arranger is software based so you don’t need to buy and carry big expensive hardware and also that Soft Arranger is totally FREE as well as the styles it uses for playing.

      You are right about it looking like an Atari game. That was intentional. The reason being that Soft Arranger was created primarily for performing on stage in front of an audience. In a situation like that you demand clear and direct feedback from your instrument as well as fast and reliable response. Unfortunately beautiful graphics adds nothing to either of these two objectives and can actually work against them if not done right.

      If you have a MIDI keyboard and you can play a few chords I suggest you try it out. I’m sure you will find it a lot of fun.

    Can Soft Arranger work as a VSTI? For example, I would like to use it as a plugin within gig Performer 4. 🙂

      I’m afraid not. It is an interesting idea that I have been playing around with for some time but I don’t know if the work involved would be worth it.

    I downloaded SoftArranger about one year ago. I found this software very interesting. To check if a new version can be found, I tried today to find again the path to download it, but all my mails on gmail was lost, so I’m not able to retrieve the download link.

    If I subscribe again to the newletter, I receive a response saying that I am already registered, and I don’t receive the site/Path to download the soft.

    What can I do, please ?
